Veggie heavy and fresh wholesome ingredients. After four auto inmune diagnosis I’ve learned how to really nourish my body with simple anti-inflammatory foods.

What exactly are inflammatory foods?

Anti-inflammatory foods are foods that have been well studied to reduce inflammation in the body. They are the items that nutritionists and doctors all agree that we need to get more of, because not only do they reduce inflammation but also have so many more health benefits as well.

Berries

Berries, whether that are blueberries, strawberries or rasberries. So many chemical compounds that are great in fighting…

Leafy Greens

I¡m sure you know that leafy greens are good for you, but do you know why they are good for you?

They are packed with nutrients, Vitamins A, C, A and K

Some jokingly refer to leafy greens as rabbit food, including my dad. They nourish our body at celular level.

Some of my favorite recipes with leafy greens include.

Wils rice and arugula salad.

Salmon

Salmon and other fatty fish such as trout, sardines, anchovies and mackerel.

These are essential because your body can¡t make them.

Omega 3s, studies have proven they are very beneficial. Omega 3s are also critical for brain health. Those who consume fatty fish regularly are less drepressed and anxious. Some of my favorite salmon recipes include mi Dijon Baked salmon

Avocado

When most think of avocdaos they think of healthy fats.

Healthy fats like those fro avocado are needed for energy, and limiting inflamation.

Fun facts about avocados is that they have large amount of potassium as bananas.

Broccoli

Broccolli and other similar vegetables like cauliflower, brussell sprouts. Broccoli is rich in Vitamin K

Garlic

Garlic has been used for centuries. Studies show mnay benefits. It’s wide raging health benefists is where garlic truly shines. If you have arthritis garlic may be your best friend as well.

It’s hard to pick just a handful of garlic recipes:

Ginger

Just like garllic, ginger has been used for centuries around the world. Ginger contains substance knowns as gingeros.. reduces inflammation.

In terms of digestion, ginger supports digestion. ginger can move things twice as fast, and it’s key if you struggle with constipation.

Remember that about 75% of our immune system comes from the gut.
